Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older and successfully complete the application process which includes: 

  • Create a Volunteer Profile │ Join Now!
    • search City of Coquitlam and select preferred organization
  • Attend a Volunteer Interview | Register Now!
  • Submit a ​Police Information Check
  • Provide 2 Reference ​Checks
  • Attend an Orientation Session | Register Now!
Note: Police information and reference forms will be handed out at your interview.

Coquitlam Youth Councils and Youth Program Committees

These are volunteer membership positions for youth in Grades 9 to 12 (14 – 18 years) who are Coquitlam residents or attend school in Coquitlam. They provide opportunities for youth to meet new people, learn more about the community and gain leadership and work experience skills.
