Election Day is October 20, 2018

Coquitlam’s general local election will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 with advance voting opportunities October 10 – 19, 2018.

Why Vote?

Do you live in Coquitlam? Do you go to Coquitlam festivals and events?  Do you drive or cycle on Coquitlam roads?  Do you use Coquitlam parks and recreation facilities?

There are lots of ways municipal government impacts our everyday lives: waste management, health inspections, community development, urban design, park amenities, business licensing, bike lanes, urban wildlife, festivals and events. This is your city. This is your vote.

Voting Locations

Vote where you want, when you want. Polls are open on Election Day - Saturday, Oct 20 - at 25 voting locations around the city from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. or you can vote early at Advance Polls from Oct 10 - 19.

Want to know if you can vote?

We use the most recent Provincial Voters List for our List of Registered Electors (voters list).

Not sure if you’re registered? No problem! If you meet the voter requirements just bring 2 pieces of ID that provide proof of identity (at least one that shows proof of residency) and register at the polls.
