Public Transit Encouraged for Coquitlam’s Jingle Bells Night

by User Not Found |

COQUITLAM, BC, Dec. 14, 2017 – Join us at Coquitlam’s Lafarge Lake on Friday, Dec. 22 from 7 – 8 p.m. for a high-spirited sing-a-long featuring hundreds of voices.

Multiple singing groups will be stationed around the lake, filling Town Centre Park with the sound of carolling. At 7:30 p.m., stop where you are and join in a community sing-a-long of Jingle Bells. Help us break our record of 500 singing voices!

Due to large anticipated crowds, visitors are encouraged to take public transit. This event is easily accessed from Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain station. Limited free parking is available throughout Town Centre Park off Trevor Wingrove Way (please do not park at Evergreen Cultural Centre).

This event is organized by Coquitlam’s Park Spark team, including community volunteers, who are stationed at the Welcome Tent each week from Wednesdays to Sundays, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. They host a variety of activities ranging from scavenger hunts to light-making workshops and special theme nights. For the upcoming schedule, plus additional information including a site map, visit the Park Spark webpage.
