Glen Pine Pavilion is an accessible adult-focused community centre equipped with a computer lab, lounge, library, fitness centre and café. The centre first opened in January 2008 and has since grown into a vibrant gathering space for the community.

The community centre was born out of a need to support the growing senior population in the City Centre area beginning in 1989 when a group of seniors started meeting at the Town Centre Community Centre near Percy Perry Stadium. The completion of Pinetree Community Centre in 1997 created a new space for the seniors group to gather, but as the City Centre area grew the needs of the community grew with it. As such, Glen Pine Pavilion was created to support the recreation, leisure and social needs of seniors and residents of all ages in the area.

Visit the Glen Pine webpage for more information about the facility including registered programs and drop-in classes offered at the facility, as well as for information on a Pavilion Annual Pass.
