Have Your Say on a Brand for Burke Mountain Village

by Rebecca Vaughan |

COQUITLAM, BC, Dec. 10, 2018 – What does the future Burke Mountain Village Centre represent to you? Share your thoughts by Dec. 20 for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card.

The City is seeking public input through an online survey to help shape a brand identity for the new village centre to be located on Burke Mountain.

As the Burke Mountain residential area in northeast Coquitlam develops, the City of Coquitlam is planning a neighbourhood centre, (“Village Centre”), which is expected to be the social and commercial hub of the mountain.  The City of Coquitlam wants to ensure this community asset is marketed in a way that offers the best return for taxpayers, while also communicating a brand that reflects the values and priorities of Coquitlam’s current and future residents.

Feedback from the survey will contribute to the creation of a brand identity for this area to instill neighbourhood pride and position the Village Centre as a great place to live, work, and play.

The survey is available at coquitlam.ca/burkevillage and will be open until Thursday, Dec. 20. Respondents over the age of 16 who complete the survey have the opportunity to enter a draw for one of three $100 Visa gift cards to be awarded on Friday, Dec. 21.

More information about Coquitlam’s future Burke Mountain Village Centre is available at coquitlam.ca/burkevillage.
