Coquitlam Animal Shelter Temporarily Closed for Renovation

by Colleen Smith |

COQUITLAM, BC, April 16,2019 – Coquitlam’s Animal Shelter is undergoing minor renovations and will be closed to the public from Monday, April 29, 2019 to Friday, May 3, 2019 inclusive.

After 17 years of operation, general wear and tear has taken its toll on the facility. The City is undertaking minor renovations to enhance the customer service areas and ensure the ongoing comfort of our four-legged friends at the shelter.

Animals currently at the shelter will be moved to another location on-site where they will be protected from any construction debris and noise.
