We also know that everyone receives a lot of emails, that is why our E-News is limited to just once a month. These are supplemented by three special editions throughout the year that provide PRC E-News subscribers advance access to the seasonal Program Guides.

Surveys Say Residents are Looking for E-News

In past surveys, Coquitlam residents overwhelming indicated that they want to receive City information via email. The City responded by launching a monthly PRC E-Newsletter in April 2018.

In a more recent survey aimed at learning more about City information, the City learned that a majority of respondents are unaware that this service exists and that a PRC E-Newsletter is distributed on the last Wednesday of every month. Consequently the City is now reaching out to residents and encouraging them to sign up for the monthly E-News.
