Coquitlam Celebrates Small Businesses

by Patricia Benton |

COQUITLAM, BC, Oct. 11, 2018 – To the thousands of small businesses and entrepreneurs, who are based in Coquitlam and are fuelling our local economy with goods, services and jobs – we thank you.

As we celebrate Small Business Week, from Sunday, Oct. 14 to Saturday, Oct. 20, the City of Coquitlam acknowledges the many small businesses that are the backbone of our economy. From the mom-and-pop shop owners who know their customers by name to the local designers who add style to our everyday lives, Small Business Week is all about recognizing the vital goods and services they provide.

Join us in celebrating Small Business Week at the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. This tradeshow, sponsored in part by the City of Coquitlam, is an opportunity for businesses to discover new products and services, attend business seminars and network. • You might find unique or one-of-a-kind goods.
  • You’re enforcing a strong sense of community.
  • You’re driving the local economy, which translates to better amenities, festivals and events.
