Clothes Washer Rebate 

For a limited time Coquitlam residents can qualify for a $100 rebate on select Energy Star® clothes washers. Sponsored by BC Hydro and the City of Coquitlam.

Visit ​bchydro.com/appliances to check the Product Eligibility Search Tool for qualifying models and to apply for your rebate. Eligible clothes washers must be purchased between ​​​October 4 and ​​​November 29, 201​9, or before funding is exhausted. Must be a City of Coquitlam resident to qualify.

Cost: $6.00 plus tax

  • 1 low-flow shower head: uses less than 8 L/min (regular shower heads use up to 18.9 L/min).
  • 1 swivel kitchen faucet aerator: mixes air into the water stream while maintaining a steady water pressure. Uses less than 6 L/min of water, almost 50% less than some faucets without aerators.
  • 1 bathroom sink faucet aerator: uses less than 6 L/min of water, almost 50% less than some faucets without aerators.
  • 1 roll of teflon tape: to install the showerhead and aerators, and prevents leakage from connections.
