How to Pay your Property Taxes

Property taxes have been mailed and are due for payment by July ​2, 201​9.

If eligible, remember to claim your Home Owner Grant online.

Property Tax Payments After-Hours at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex

We’ve made it easier to pay your taxes in person! Beginning Monday, May 27 until July 2, City staff will be available to take property tax payments after-hours at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex (633 Poirier St.) 

May 27 – July 2
Monday – Friday, 4 – 8 p.m.

Two Saturdays
June 22 & 29
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 

Daytime in-person payments will be accepted at City Hall during normal business hours from 8a.m. - 5p.m.

Payment Check list

  1. Select which column you need to pay on your Property Tax Bill - A, B or C
  2. Make your payment
  3. Claim your Home Owner Grant (if eligible)

We do not accept credit cards for Property Tax payments.

Internet Banking
On your bank’s internet banking site, set up a new bill payment for Coquitlam Taxes using the 8-digit folio number from your Property Tax Bill.
  • Please ensure the transaction is completed 2-3 days prior to due date.
At Your Bank
Property Tax Bills are payable at most banks or credit unions.
  • Please keep the stamped copy of your bill for proof of payment.
By Cheque
Mail your cheque to: City of Coquitlam, 3000 Guildford Way, Coquitlam, BC V3B 7N2
  • Cheques post-dated up to the due date are accepted.
  • Envelopes must bear a Canada Post postmark prior to the due date.
Drop Box at City Hall
After hours, deposit your cheque and/or Home Owner Grant Application in drop boxes at City Hall located:
  • Underground parking area
  • Main entrance facing Burlington Drive
In Person at City Hall
Revenue Services Counter, Main Floor, 3000 Guildford Way, Coquitlam 
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque and debit
  • If you are using a debit card, please check with your bank to ensure that the transaction will not exceed your daily withdrawal limit.
