Art Organizations

See it! Learn it! Do it! There are many opportunities to experience culture in your own back yard. Visit your local theatre or gallery, enrol in a class to feed your creativity, move your body by learning to dance and express your voice by joining a choir. You can find it all here in Coquitlam.

Coquitlam Public Library

The Coquitlam Public Library has two locations. Both branches provide a variety of materials and services.

Public Art

Coquitlam’s Public Art Program enhances civic spaces and neighbourhoods, makes art accessible to all and reflects the diversity of our community and neighbourhoods. We celebrate the artists and their artwork for creating opportunities for learning and discovery.

Heritage & History

Coquitlam began as a "place-in-between" since the area was opened up with the construction of North Road in the mid-1800s.
