Coquitlam Public Art Scavenger Hunt

In late 2016, the SkyTrain arrived in Coquitlam! With 11km and six stations, the Millennium Line Evergreen Extension connects the Tri-Cities to the region, and has forever changed the lives of residents and visitors. In celebration of the four Evergreen Extension stops in Coquitlam (Burquitlam, Coquitlam Central, Lincoln, and Lafarge Lake-Douglas), multiple works of public art were created and installed at each station.

As part of this year’s Culture Days, the City is issuing a fun challenge: visit all four Coquitlam stations on the Evergreen Line and answer questions about the public art. By joining in the fun, you will have the chance to discover Coquitlam and the Evergreen Line, learn about public art, and enter to win some awesome prizes!

Grand Prize: Visit all four stations and correctly answer all 12 questions for your chance to win

  • $100 gift card to Coquitlam Centre
  • $100 gift card to Opus Art Supplies
  • Four all-day Compass ride passes

Second Prize: Visit at least two stations and correctly answer between six and 11 questions for your chance to win

  • $50 gift card to Coquitlam Centre
  • $50 gift card to Opus Art Supplies
  • Two all-day Compass ride passes

Full Contest Rules

While it is free to participate in the scavenger hunt, in order to visit the artwork installed inside the SkyTrain stations, a ticket must be purchased. A great way to visit all the stations is by riding the SkyTrain! Players can still participate, without additional costs, by visiting the artwork outside of each station.
