Kaleidoscope Arts Festival

The Philosopher KingsCoquitlam is ​excited to have the Juno award-winning band, The Philosopher Kings, take to the TD Community Plaza stage as the headlining act for this year's full-day arts festival​.

This free, full-day event will feature dynamic live performances across two stages, including concerts by pop singer Mathew V and high-energy violinist Kytami, plus other unique and engaging artists. Detailed performance schedules are below.

The ​day includes dancers, multicultural acts and interactive community art, as well as craft beer and food available for purchase. RVSP to ​the Facebook event page to receive a reminder.

Kaleidoscope Art EngagementThe Studio: Bringing the ​Artist ​Studio to the ​Festival ​Site

Join artist Tara Lee Houston at The Studio as builds her interactive textile art “Weave Community Circles.”  Using a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors from recycled fabric and ribbon you can join in the creation of this giant art installation.  

Body Art 

Add a kaleidoscope of design and colour to your arm, leg or face with award-winning body painter artist Marie-Helene Babin.

Writer’s Corner

Get creative at the interactive poetry wall or compose and illustrate your own tiny story with Coquitlam Public Library

Create your own custom eco art seedling planter with Place des Arts
