Food Delivery

​Meals for Seniors​​

Glen Pine and Dogwood Pavilions ​offer a frozen meal delivery and pick-up program for Coquitlam residents 50+ yrs.

The meals​ are $7.50 each and payment by credit card ​is taken over the phone by calling at 604-927-​4386.

Frozen meal orde​rs are delivered for free in Coquitlam by 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays (schedule may change with civic holidays).

Pick-up orders are available between 1:30 – 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays at Glen Pine or Dogwood Pavilions.

  • To place on order for pickup / delivery on Tuesday, Sept. ​22
    order online or call on Monday, Sept. ​21 ​between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 
  • To place an order for pickup / delivery on ​​Friday, Sept​. ​​25 
    call or order online on ​Thursday, ​Sept​. ​​24 ​between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. ​

How to Order Online:

  1. ONLY available Mondays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. ​– 2 p.m. ​ 
  2. During that time, click this ORDER LINK
  3. You will need to Login to your account to order
  4. If you do not yet have an account, create ​an account
  5. Available menu options appear down the page
  6. Scroll down to see all available menu options
  7. Click Register to select a meal
  8. Follow prompts to complete your order.

Note: Orders are limited to 3 meals​ per eligible person, per order day. For example, if you and your partner are both eligible, and living in the same home, you may purchase 6 meals twice per week. Meals choices will change each week. There will be times when an extra 3 meals can be ordered – this will be noted on the weekly menu. 

NEW Pavilion Pickup – your favourite scones and muffins from the Boulevard and Lemon Tree Café  will be available to order for pick-up only. Up to 3 scones/muffins per person. Not available as a delivery option.

Phone Buddy

R​egister for the Phone Buddy Program

If you are a Coquitlam senior living alone or know a senior who could use a friendly phone call, please contact Dogwood Pavilion at 604-927-6098 or Glen Pine Pavilion at 604-927-6940 weekdays. 

The Phone Buddy Program connects seniors in the community with volunteers who can provide social contact through weekly phone calls. Seniors receive a compassionate and supportive ear to those in need of a friend and volunteers are carefully screened and matched by city staff.

Letters to SeniorsLetters of Kindness 

Looking to brighten a senior's day? Get writing!

The City is accepting submissions of letters, poems, drawings or anything bearing a positive message to distribute to seniors who have signed up for the City’s meal delivery program.

To participate, simply submit a letter or scanned your image and email to volunteers@coquitlam.ca.​
