110th Anniversary Open House

Our annual Open House event celebrates the arrival of the first train passengers to Maillardville and this year is the 20th anniversary of Mackin House being open to the public as a museum.

Join us for train station & museum tours, crafts, treats, quilt sewing and sock knitting demonstrations and the world folk music sounds of Kouskous. This duo will perform two interactive sets including:

  • 1:00pm: Songs of the Francophones Hear songs that the Francophone pioneers likely sang. Join in with body percussion and call and response.
  • 2:15pm: BC's History Through Song Experience BC's history with folk songs describing the Gold Rush, Rum Running, Logging and Scandals.

No Reg​istration Required. All Welcome.
