Quilting Bee & Family Day at Place Maillardville

Join us at Mackin House or at Laval Square for our Quilting bee.

We are making a quilt to commemorate our Heirlooms & Treasures exhibit. Learn to sew by hand and try out a sewing machine. See examples of some of the quilts in our collection and learn a new skill. Experienced quilter? Help out a newbie. Never sewed before and want to see what it is all about? This is your chance. Open to all ages, but sewing for 5 and up only please. No Registration Required.

Mackin House sewing from 10:30-3:30pm. Family Fun Day @ Place Maillardville from 10:00am-1:00pm.

Place des Arts’ Youth Arts Council invites teens ages 13 to 17 to Art After Dark: Galaxy Edition!

At this free night of the arts, you and your friends can explore your artistic and creative interests through a variety of casual arts activities​: Slime Making, Constellation Stencils, and Hip Hop Dance.  In addition to making art, find your way out of the escape room, and enjoy free snacks, drinks and music!

Art After Dark is an awesome way to spend a Saturday night chilling with your squad!
