Application Process

Applications are accepted and ​processed year round from eligible Coquitlam residents.  Recipients are informed by mail of result of application within 3 – 4 weeks of submission. Application processing times vary and they are based on the volume of applications received and the time of the year. Every application is important to us and they will be processed in the order we received them to ensure fairness to everyone.  Click here for more detailed information on how to apply. 

  • APPLICANTS (new or renewal) must complete an Application Package.  Click here for more detailed information about what documents are needed and who can apply.
  • AGENCY REFERRALS can be completed if you receive income assistance or other forms of social assistance and you are connected with an Agency.  The Agency can apply on you or your family's behalf by using an Agency Referral Application.  You do not need to attend an information session.

Options

The following options will be available to those who are eligible, qualify and enroll. Qualified applicants must choose from either Option A or Option B.

Option A

  • 50 free drop-in admissions per year, ​OR
  • 2 free registered programs per year, ​OR
  • 4 half price registered programs per year

Option B

  • ONE PASS, 1 year membership with unlimited drop-in admissions for $10.00 per person plus:
    – 2 free registered programs per year, ​OR
    – 4 half price registered programs per year

Recreation Inclusion

Do you or a family member need support to participate in one of our registered recreation programs? Contact the Community Services team to discuss options on how we can best support you and/or your family member. We encourage individuals with disabilities to participate in our programs. However, those needing personal assistance with toileting, feeding, transferring, dressing, or administering medications must make personal arrangements for this assistance.
