Phone BuddyPhone Buddy

If you are a senior living alone or know a senior who could use a friendly phone call, please contact Dogwood Pavilion at 604-927-6098 or Glen Pine Pavilion at 604-927-6940. 

The Phone Buddy Program will connect seniors in the community with volunteers who can provide social contact through weekly phone calls.  Volunteers will provide a compassionate and supportive ear to those in need of a friend.  They will be screened and carefully matched by city staff.

Food DeliveryMeals for Seniors

Starting Monday, March 30, the Glen Pine Pavilion ​is offering a frozen meal delivery program.

Frozen meals will be available and delivered by 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday. 

Meals​ are $7.50 each and payment will be taken over the phone by calling 604-927-6940

This week's menu items.

  • To place an order for delivery on Tuesday, please call on Monday ​between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 
  • To place an order for delivery on Friday, please call on Thursday between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Staff will be able to confirm the meal choice, arrange for delivery and  take your payment over the phone using your credit card.  2 meal per person limit ​– 4 per eligible couple. 

This is a nutritious and affordable way to stay healthy and help stop the spread of COVID-19 in Coquitlam..

Dogwood Pavilion is an active adult, accessible recreation centre with a fully equipped woodworking shop, snooker room, lapidary workshop, computer lab, lounge and library.

Check out this week's menu at the Boulevard Café. Open for lunch Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. with hot meal service starting at 11 a.m. On the lighter side, try our Tea Garden for coffee, tea and baked goodies, open daily from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. ​

Pavilion Annual Pass

A Pavilion Annual Pass is required to participate in our activity groups and bus trips. It's available to those 50 years and over and is valid at Dogwood and Glen Pine Pavilions. Learn more about the Pavilion Annual Pass.
