Dogwood Pavilion is an active adult, accessible recreation centre with a fully equipped woodworking shop, snooker room, lapidary workshop, computer lab, lounge and library.

The Boulevard Café is open for lunch Monday to Friday. On the lighter side, try our Tea Garden for coffee, tea and baked goodies. ​

Mundy Park: Explore on Foot
Mundy Park is a 178-hectare urban forest that has a series of walking trails and two lakes. Located in southwest Coquitlam, the park is bordered by Mariner Way, King Albert Avenue, Hillcrest Street and Como Lake Avenue. Join Shelley Frick, an environmental educator, on a guided walk to explore this jewel of Coquitlam. Shelley will introduce you to the trees and plants in the park and talk about the animals they support.
Once you’ve walked with Shelley, you’ll be comfortable going to the park with your friends. There will be a draw for a small first aid kit suitable to have when you are out walking and exploring your community.

Music: Drumming for Vitality
Drumming has been shown to boost the immune system, lower blood pressure, increase concentration and coordination, and reduce overall stress and anxiety. Explore the world of rhythm through use of African drums and small percussions from around the world. Instruments are provided.

Cemetery Walking Tour

The history of a city is often revealed in the cemetery and is no exception. Join Kerry Haynes, Cemetery caretaker, as he hosts a walking tour of the cemetery highlighting the ‘buried history’ of Coquitlam. Tour begins at the cemetery office, 621 Robinson Street.
