Glen Pine Culture Days Open House

Celebrate multiculturalism in your community! There will be hands-on and interactive activities with the Glen Pine 50 Plus Society groups and clubs. Take the chance to explore different options for fun, entertainment and social interaction in our multicultural community for the 50 Plus. You can look into different groups and clubs to join or just enjoy the beautiful displays from our Glen Pine community of crafters, quilters, painters, artists and more!

Glen Pine Live: The Piano Man

The Piano Man featuring the biggest hits from two legendary pop/rock icons: Elton John and Billy Joel! The Piano Man is a colourful and engaging stage show. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. Bar is open at 5:30 p.m. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. Entertainment starts at 7:30 p.m. | Register Now

ActivAge™ & Choose to Move

walkingCoquitlam is partnering with BC Recreation & Parks Association (BCRPA) to bring you two new programs to help older adults become more active. 


Are you 65 or older? Wanting to get more physically active? Then ActivAge™ is for you. This fun and social program will get you moving in a relaxed and inviting class environment with like-minded people. You have two different program options to choose from:

  • Option 1 focuses on improving activities of daily living, strengthening muscles used day-to-day (e.g. bending, lifting, stretching, etc.) | Waitlist
  • Option 2 focuses on exercises that will enable you to become more involved with other activity programs or sports | Waitlist

Each option runs once a week for one hour over 12 sessions. The sessions include discussions and handouts to help you improve your overall health and physical well-being. | Learn More

Choose to Move

Are you 65 and older and looking for motivation to become physically active? Choose to Move will help you make daily physical activity a habit, in ways that make sense for you. It's a free and flexible program that provides you with motivation and support to become more active. You'll receive both individual and group support:

  • Work with a trained activity coach to develop and stick to a physical activity plan made just for you
  • Join a group of other Choose to Movers to share successes and challenges

With the help of your activity coach and support group, you will find the motivation and accountability you need to achieve your goals.​ | Learn More | Register Now

Influenza Vaccination Clinic

The community pharmacist will be available to administer the annual flu shot to Pavilion members and members of the public 50 years and up. Please pre-register, and bring your Care Card. (Drop-in may be available if you are willing to wait). Call 604-927-4386 to register.
