hip hop youthYouth Hip Hop Drop-in at Pinetree (11 – 18 yrs)

Join Pinetree Community Centre's in-house hip hop instructor to practice your skills, learn new tricks and techniques, and perform or battle for others. Open for beginners to advanced. Also open to all types of dance!

First Aid Course 

Standard First Aid

A comprehensive course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. This course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial workers safety and insurance boards, and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

  • CPR 'C' included.
  • Valid for three years.
  • Attendance is mandatory to be certified.
  • Price includes pocket mask, workbook and Red Cross certificate fee.

Learn or improve your table tennis skills at Pinetree Communty Centre. We have two great programs - to cover all skill levels - starting this month.

Table Tennis: Skills and Drills (16 yrs+)
Learn or improve your table tennis skills. Lessons include skill development for beginner players.

parkourParkour Programs

Learn the fundamentals of parkour through our Parkour: Introduction programs. Progressing from class to class, this course introduces and teaches the skills of parkour,while promoting the development of physical fitness. Learn basic skills, including safe jumping, landing techniques, rolls and vaults, using both hands and feet. Apply these skills in obstacle courses and movement-based games. This program is offered in partnership with Journey Parkour.

foodLet's get cooking!

Inspire a love of cooking and baking in your kids with two programs that will get them creative in the kitchen. Pinetree Community Centre is hosting a Cakes, Cookies and Cupcakes program that will focus on basic recipes, as well as fun decorating techniques. Classes are open to children eight to 12 years old.

Fans of savoury cuisine can check out our Creative Cooks class that will teach basic cooking skills and kitchen safety. Different recipes will be created each class with a focus on healthy eating. Classes are open to children seven to 10 years old.

Looking to cook as a family? Learn kitchen basics through easy recipes with your child with our I Can Cook! Adult & Child class. Our instructors create a hands-on environment where play in the kitchen is encouraged! For children aged three to five years old.
