Games Night BowlingGames Night at Spirit Square

Come play! Drop by Spirit Square to play board games and giant lawn games. We'll have snacks, a wide range of board games for kids, teens and adults as well as jumbo lawn games including: Connect 4, Jenga, tic-tac-toe and bowling. Spirit Square is located across the street from City Hall and is a short walk from the Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain station. Street parking is also available.

lindsay lake loop lookoutLindsay Lake Loop Hike 

Starting from the equestrian parking lot at Buntzen Lake, head up the Halvor Lunden Trail and explore the upper reaches of Eagle Mountain. With 1100m of ascent in only 15km, expect a lot of very steep sections. This difficult hike rewards your effort with spectacular viewpoints and mountain top lakes. | Register Now

Ridge Park Intermediate Hike

This evening hike will start from the power line right-of-way on Westwood Plateau before gaining elevation and hiking into the wonderful forest of Ridge Park. There will be a chance for great views overlooking Coquitlam and beyond. Roundtrip distance is 6km with an elevation gain of 245m. | Register Now

Eagle Ridge Lower Slopes Beginner Hike

This evening of exercise will take you uphill of the homes on Westwood Plateau and into the forest of Eagle Ridge. The group will travel through a mature second growth forest and will rest at some viewpoints overlooking the surrounding areas. While this is a beginner hike, you should have some hiking experience and the ability to hike on steep trails. Roundtrip distance is 6km with an elevation gain of 200m. | Register Now

East Bastion, White Rock & Echo Point Advanced Hike

This strenuous hike is intended for experienced and fit hikers. The route is long with lots of elevation change and steep sections. Take in several spectacular viewpoints. Starting at the Equestrian parking lot near Buntzen Lake, take the 'Full Pull' mountain bike trail to the plateau, after which we will follow logging roads to the East Bastion Trail and viewpoints. Return via the White Rock Lookout and Halvor Lunden Trail. Total distance is 13km with an elevation gain of 1200m. | Register Now

Fraser River Sunset Beginner Hike

An evening of exercise and hiking will take in Colony Farm, Citadel Heights, and end with watching the sunset by the Fraser River. Most of the hike is on level ground, but there are a couple of short, steep uphill sections. Time will be taken to enjoy the views and wildlife in the area. Roundtrip distance is 6.5km with an elevation gain of 80m. | Register Now

Registration for fall programs (September to December) begins Wednesday, July 25 at 12 a.m. for online registration and 6 a.m. for in person or phone registration.
