New Programs


Nature Play & Learn (3 – 5 yrs)

Allow your child to create a lifelong connection with the natural world. Nature will be the thread that ties all parts of this play and exploratory based program together. Children will spend a significant amount of time learning outdoors each class, through all seasons. They will develop vital life skills and competencies, gain confidence and build creativity and respect through independence and new friendships, all in the natural environments of Mundy Park. A small portion of the day will be spent indoors at the Mundy Park Field house. Child must be three years of age and fully potty trained prior to starting this program.

Relax and Restore Yoga for Youth

Unwind from the day with a relaxing yoga practice. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Come relax and restore while gaining strength and flexibility in an unplugged youth-only environment.

Skills DrillsSkills and Drills  (13 – 16 yrs)

Are you a teen looking to stay active throughout the summer? Register for Skills and Drills! A certified trainer will guide you through strength, cardio and conditioning drills to enhance your agility, coordination and speed. Starts Aug. 6 and runs Tuesdays, 4:15 – 5:15 p.m. in the fitness room at City Centre Aquatics  (1210 Pinetree Way).

Horseback Riding Camps (5 – 12 yrs)

Learn all about horses and how to ride and care for them with this brand new program, offered in partnership with Maple Meadows Equestrian at Maple Meadows Equestrian Centre. All skill levels are welcome.

Outdoor Fitness

With the weather getting warmer, more people are taking their exercise routine outside.  And in Coquitlam, there is no lack of trails and parks to work out in. Of course, at the top of the list is the Coquitlam Crunch, which boasts more than 890 steps to a 794-foot plateau.  But there are many other programs that will satisfy your outdoor fix.

Nature Therapy Walk 

Deepen your experience with nature as you relax, meditate and leisurely stroll through local forested pathways. Join lively small group conversations as you open yourself to abundant gifts nestled within our community. Meet at Glen Pine. Instructor: Fay Wong.
