Join us for a week of outdoor fun in beautiful Mundy Park! Hiking, wilderness safety, outdoor exploration, nature related activities and more. 7 – 11 years | Register Now

Outdoor Safety for Kids!

This program will teach your child the skills needed to survive in the woods in a fun and interactive way. Learn four steps to follow if you get lost, and the basic safety precautions you should take before heading outdoors.This is a mostly indoor program, but we may venture outside, so please dress for the weather. 6 – 8 years | Register Now!

Baby & Me Hiking 

Hikes are designed for new parents and their babies to enjoy moderate level hikes. Must be able to carry your baby for at least 90 minutes over technical terrain. Please bring your own carrier. Expecting moms should have permission from their care providers. Hikes run rain or shine. Locations vary; participants will be notified of meeting locations prior to start. For babies 1 – 18 months | Register Now

Mountain Biking - GettyImages-544464786 socialIntro to Mountain Biking 

Interested in mountain biking but not sure where to start? This program gives you a solid skill foundation with pre-ride safety checks, basic bike maintenance, trail safety and trail maintenance/building. Skills covered in this program include: stance, balance, gearing, climbing/descending, cornering and rolls. Participants must have a mountain bike in working condition and a well-fitting helmet. Includes a destination ride on the last day. Offered in partnership with the Learning Curve Mountain Biking Association. For adults 18 years and up | Register Now!

Coquitlam's Spring/Summer 2018 Program Guide will be available online on Wednesday, March 7. You can pick up a printed copy of the guide from our recreation facilities starting Monday, March 12. 

Registration for spring and summer programs (May to August) begins Wednesday, March 14 at 12 a.m. for online registration and 6 a.m. for in person or phone registration.
