Burke Mountain Lots

The City of Coquitlam has received an application proposing to re-designate a number of undeveloped City-owned parcels of land including:

  • 3461 and 3499 Gislason Avenue
  • 3504 and 3512 David Avenue
  • 1305 and 1315 Riley Street

The existing land use designations are for School / Park, Neighbourhood Park, Conventional Townhomes, Small Village Single Family and Large Village Single Family.

Any proposed re-designations would require amendments to the Northeast Coquitlam Area Plan, the Smiling Creek Neighbourhood Plan and the Lower Hyde Creek Neighbourhood Plan.

At this time, the City is recommending further public consultation on this proposal. City staff will be having internal discussions to plan for consultation, which will likely take place in late fall, 2014. More information on consultation opportunities will be posted here, when available.
