Please be aware, beginning July 2, 2019, the City will be recovering mail costs from the applicant for all new applications that require a public notification in the form of letters being mailed.

The pre-application process provides a preliminary review for a subsequent, more detailed development application, including a Development Permit, Rezoning or Official Community Plan Amendment.

The review provides a coordinated response from appropriate City departments regarding any major issues, as can be determined from the preliminary concept plans and proposed development description.

The outcome of a pre-application review does not imply or suggest a decision by the City to either support or refuse any subsequent detailed application. However, the information from the pre-application review is intended to assist the applicant in determining if any significant changes to the development proposal should be made prior to proceeding with the detailed, formal application, and for the applicant to gain some understanding of all relevant issues.
