Development Application SignsAll applicants pursuing Development Applications involving one or more of the following application types are required to install a development proposal sign on the development site:

  • Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment
  • Rezoning
  • Land Use Contract (LUC) Discharge/Amendment
  • Development Permit
  • Temporary Use Permit
  • Heritage Revitalization Agreement / Heritage Alteration Permit
  • Development Variance Permit

Once an application is submitted, the assigned File Manager will provide written instruction to the applicant or developer indicating when and where the sign needs to be posted, as well as the content.

The applicant or developer is responsible for preparing, posting and removing the signs in accordance with the specifications set out by the City of Coquitlam.

Signs need to be posted within three (3) weeks of the date of letter and no later than two (2) weeks before the scheduled Council date.
