COQUITLAM, B.C., December 20, 2024 – Coquitlam City facilities and services have adjusted schedules over the winter holidays through to early January.
- Recreation centres and other civic facility hours can be viewed at coquitlam.ca/HolidayHours.
- If you stay local over the holidays, our recreation centres offer all-ages drop-in activities, and pools, arenas, sports and active play options are available. Visit coquitlam.ca/StayAndPlay for details.
- You can also enhance your Lights at Lafarge experience at free, outdoor, pop-up events in Town Centre Park. Visit coquitlam.ca/ParkSpark for dates and times.
Curbside Collection Schedule Changes
Garbage, Green Cart and recycling collection dates change over the holidays due to the statutory holidays on December 25, 26 and January 1. The collection schedules will be adjusted as follows:
- Wednesday, December 25 collection will occur on Friday, December 27
- Thursday, December 26 collection will occur on Saturday, December 28
- Wednesday, January 1 collection will occur on Thursday, January 2
- Thursday, January 2 collection will occur on Friday, January 3
