Coquitlam Crunch trail users can expect to see work crews over the next few weeks as new steps are added to extend the west set of stairs.
The next phase of the park expansion is anticipated to begin in 2020 and increase the park size to about five acres (two hectares).
Funded and constructed by housing developer Wesbild, the expansion will bring one large passive park to the area rather than the two smaller parks previously planned for the area.
