The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's, presented by Go Auto, is the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon's largest fundraising event. The event will see participants in communities across British Columbia walk together on the last Sunday in May to honour people affected by dementia. Funds raised through the Walk are instrumental in helping the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon deliver programs and services to people affected by dementia and enable research to change the future of the disease. We couldn’t do this work without the generous efforts of our fundraisers and donors! 
 
This Sunday, May 31, join more than 2,000 fellow British Columbians to show people living with dementia, as well as their families and caregivers, they don't have to walk alone.

The event is free to join. Donation is appreciated but not required. 
Registration opens at 9 a.m.
Opening ceremony at 10 a.m. followed by the Walk

Walk route: It's a 2.5 km flat and accessible route looping the west side of the park then return to the staging area. Participants can walk according to the pace and distance they feel comfortable with. Route marshals along the route can provide assistance if needed. 
It's a pet-friendly Walk. Pets must be on leash.
