In the summer of 2019, Guilby Park was updated as part of Coquitlam’s Park Blitz program. Updates included:
- Additional landscape plantings
- New bench and picnic table
- New irrigation system
- New woodchip playground surfacing
- Replacement of existing garbage can
- Replacement of existing playground equipment
