COQUITLAM, B.C., May 25, 2026 – Celebrate Pride in Coquitlam with events and activities for all ages designed to foster connection, celebrate diversity and support an inclusive community. Come take part in a variety of programs throughout June and July that recognize and celebrate the LGBTQ2S+ community.
The Pride flag will be flying at City Hall starting on June 1, with Pride banners also set to be displayed at locations across the City later this summer. These flags, alongside rainbow-coloured lighting on Pinetree Way and the rainbow crosswalk on Burlington Avenue, showcase the City’s support for Pride in Coquitlam.
Celebrating Inclusion
Pride is an important component of the City of Coquitlam’s continuous efforts to foster welcoming, inclusive and respectful environments across City facilities, programs, services and public spaces.
This year, the City is offering a variety of activities and events for all ages that increase community connection, boost creativity and encourage reflection and learning.

Attend the Coquitlam Pride Festival in July
Mark your calendars for the fourth annual Coquitlam Pride Festival, organized by the Tri-Cities Pride Society and supported by the City of Coquitlam. Join us on Saturday, July 4, at the Evergreen Cultural Centre and Town Centre Park Community Centre for a day of family-friendly events, workshops, entertainment and food from 12 – 5 p.m.
