Utility Work – Intersection of David Avenue and Shaughnessy Street

The City's contractor will be completing traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of David Avenue and Shaughnessy Street, starting Tues, Aug 4 to Fri, Aug 7 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will temporarily no traffic lights operating during active work.

What: Traffic Signal Upgrades

Where: Intersection of David Avenue and Shaughnessy Street (Location Map)

When: Tuesday, August 4 to Friday, August 7 (weather permitting). Work will take place during the hours between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Traffic Impacts: There will be traffic delays. In order to complete this work, traffic signals at intersection will be temporarily out of service and traffic personnel will be in place to direct road users. Please plan an alternate route to avoid delays or plan extra time when using this route.

Driver Safety Reminder:
When traveling through the construction zone, please:

  • Drive with extreme caution and follow construction speed limits.
  • Keep a close watch for work crews and heavy machinery.
  • Obey all construction signage and instructions from traffic personnel.
