What: Road Repaving
Where: David Avenue between Genest Way and Shaughnessy Street (Location Map)
When: Work is scheduled to begin Thursday, October 22, and will be ongoing for approximately one week. Work will take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Traffic Impacts: Traffic will be reduced to a single lane within active work zones. Occasional turn restrictions may also be in place at intersections. Cyclists will be required to use the travel lane through active work zones. Please plan an alternate route to avoid delays or allow extra travel time when travelling through the area.
Driver Safety Reminder:
When traveling through the construction zone, please:
- Drive with extreme caution and follow construction speed limits.
- Keep a close watch for work crews and heavy machinery.
- Obey all construction signage and instructions from traffic personnel.
