The City's contractor is scheduled to repave Austin Avenue, from Schoolhouse Street to Mariner Way. Work will begin on May 16 and will take approximately 3 months to complete (weather dependent). Work will take place between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

When: Construction will begin on May 16 and will take approximately 3 months to complete (weather dependent). Due to high traffic volumes in the area and overall public safety, majority of the work will take place during night time hours. Work will take place Sunday to Friday between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Traffic Impacts: During active construction, traffic flow will be impacted and there will be temporary turn restrictions at intersections. Please plan an alternate route to avoid delays or plan extra time when using this route.
