COQUITLAM, B.C., June 3, 2025 – Get ready for an unforgettable day of community, connection, and summer fun on Canada Day at Town Centre Park!

Spend Tuesday, July 1 surrounded by friends, family, and neighbours at Coquitlam’s biggest and most exciting event of the year. With live music, delicious food, and activities for all ages, Canada Day at Town Centre Park is the perfect chance to come together, make memories, and celebrate everything that makes our community so special.

A Vibrant Day in Coquitlam

Starting at noon, visitors can enjoy two stages with musical performances, community and City exhibits, a variety of food trucks, an eco zone, adventure games, e-bike and scooter demo area, full-site liquor service, and a fireworks finale at 10 p.m.

Dance the night away with Dr. Strangelove, hitting the main stage at 8:15 p.m. This legendary six-piece band is known for their high-energy shows, powerhouse vocals, and unbeatable playlist—covering everything from Frank Sinatra to Lady Gaga, and AC/DC to Shania Twain.

  • Brew Corner – Sponsor Mariner Brewing returns to serve a variety of craft beers and a guest tap from NiceLife Cocktails in a relaxed patio setting; proceeds from the Mexican Lager support the Coquitlam Firefighters Charity.
  • Eco Zone – Connect with the City’s environmental and Park Spark team and local groups through interactive, hands-on activities that highlight local ecosystems — proudly sponsored by Meadowridge School.
  • Coquitlam Lane – Take some fun pictures in the giggle booth and learn about the Coquitlam’s Tourism highlights, first response services and what the City is doing in Accessibility and Inclusion.
  • The Meadow – Discover various cultural groups, art organizations, corporate partners from the community or relax in the Marcon Pavilion seating area, proudly brought to you by our Presenting Partner, Marcon. The Meadow Stage will feature interactive performances throughout the day.

We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that the name Coquitlam was derived from the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (HUN-kuh-MEE-num) word kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (kwee-KWET-lum) meaning “Red Fish Up the River”. The City is honoured to be located on the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm traditional and ancestral lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the q̓ic̓əy̓ (kat-zee), and other Coast Salish Peoples.
