Spend Tuesday, July 1 surrounded by friends, family, and neighbours at Coquitlam’s biggest and most exciting event of the year. With live music, delicious food, and activities for all ages, Canada Day at Town Centre Park is the perfect chance to come together, make memories, and celebrate everything that makes our community so special.
A Vibrant Day in Coquitlam
Starting at noon, visitors can enjoy two stages with musical performances, community and City exhibits, a variety of food trucks, an eco zone, adventure games, e-bike and scooter demo area, full-site liquor service, and a fireworks finale at 10 p.m.
Dance the night away with Dr. Strangelove, hitting the main stage at 8:15 p.m. This legendary six-piece band is known for their high-energy shows, powerhouse vocals, and unbeatable playlist—covering everything from Frank Sinatra to Lady Gaga, and AC/DC to Shania Twain.

The festival grounds will be home to:
- Adventure Games – Stop by for exciting active games for a variety of ages, skills and abilities, including mini golf, huge inflatable slide and a climbing wall. You can also get your roll on at the Lime scooter and e-bike demo area. Our adventure zones are proudly sponsored by Arc’teryx Coquitlam Centre.
- Eat Street – Our food truck partners offer a delightful array of multicultural cuisines. Enjoy a wide selection of dishes, including vegan, vegetarian, halal, kosher and gluten-free options, catering to all dietary needs and preferences.
- Brew Corner – Sponsor Mariner Brewing returns to serve a variety of craft beers and a guest tap from NiceLife Cocktails in a relaxed patio setting; proceeds from the Mexican Lager support the Coquitlam Firefighters Charity.
- Eco Zone – Connect with the City’s environmental and Park Spark team and local groups through interactive, hands-on activities that highlight local ecosystems — proudly sponsored by Meadowridge School.

Pinetree Way between Guildford Way and David Avenue will be closed to traffic from 9:30 – 11 p.m. for the fireworks display.
