The City's contractor, Jack Cewe Construction Ltd., is scheduled repave a number of streets in the River Heights Area. The following streets are scheduled to be repaved: Clearwater Way from Mara Drive to Mara Drive, Mara Drive from Clearwater Way to Chilko Drive, Swan Place, Tabor Place, Whitesail Place, and Alta Lake Place. As a part of this project, minor storm sewer upgrades will be taking place on Mara Drive, prior to repaving work.
Construction work is to begin in the spring and will take approximately two months (weather dependent). Work will take place Monday throught Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. They may also work some Saturdays as well.
Construction will affect traffic flow and parking, but every effort will be made to minimize disruptions. Please plan extra time.
