COQUITLAM, B.C., April 21, 2026 – Summer recreation registration is just around the corner, with a variety of programs and camps available to help residents stay active, engaged and connected all season long.

Registration opens in stages to help manage demand:

  • Swimming: April 28 for residents; April 30 for non-residents
  • Skating: May 5 for residents; May 7 for non-residents
  • Summer Camps: May 12 for residents; May 14 for non-residents
  • General Programs: May 19 for residents; May 21 for non-residents

A virtual waiting room (Queue-It) will once again be in place for high-demand registrations, helping ensure a smoother sign-up experience. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and be ready to secure their preferred programs early.

All programs are viewable online at coquitlam.ca/registration at least four days before registration begins. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., and is available online, in-person and by phone. Call 604-927-4386 or visit most recreation facilities to register.

  • Correct street name and house/unit number (for multi-dwelling units).
  • Correct spelling of “Coquitlam” with no abbreviations.
  • Inclusion of your postal code.

We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that the name Coquitlam was derived from the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (HUN-kuh-MEE-num) word kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (kwee-KWET-lum) meaning “Red Fish Up the River”. The City is honoured to be located on the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm traditional and ancestral lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the q̓ic̓əy̓ (kat-zee), and other Coast Salish Peoples.
