Recreation Registration

  1. COVID-19 Update: Jan. 19, 2022

    As of Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, weight rooms at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex and City Centre Aquatic Complex will reopen to the public with pre-registered time blocks, distancing and capacity limits in place. At this time, both Glen Pine and Pinetree weight rooms will remain closed due to spacing requirements. Masks are required for all staff and patrons when not exercising. Indoor and outdoor group fitness classes are anticipated to return as of Monday, Jan. 24. 

    All fitness will require pre-registration which opens 48 hours in advance. Find options and register here

    The City of Coquitlam operates within the requirements set out by the Provincial Health Officer and all current public health orders are followed including proof of vaccination requirements and mask mandates. For specifics on when and where vaccinations are required for City programs, visit the COVID-19 web page.

Spring 2022 Program Registration (April – June Programs)

  • Skating and Swimming Registration
    • Jan. 31 – Programs are visible online at 8:30 a.m.
    • Feb. 2 – Online, phone-in and in-person registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • General Recreation and Fitness
    • Feb. 28 – Programs are visible online at 8:30 a.m.
    • March 2 – Online, phone-in and in-person registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

Reminder: One Set at a Time

Skating and swimming lesson participants can only be registered for one set of lessons at a time. You may register your child for the next set of lessons on the last day of the current set. 

Please note, your child will be withdrawn from a program(s) if registered in more than one lesson set, or if they are registered in future lesson sets prior to completing the set they are currently registered in.

Program withdrawal fees for programs

The following withdrawal fees will apply to fall 2021 programs:

  • No withdrawal fee if withdrawal is more than 5 days from beginning of the program
  • $5 withdrawal fee if withdrawal is within 5 days of the program starting
  • $5 withdrawal fee if program has started

Exceptions: Camps require 10 days advance notice to avoid the $5 service fee.

  1. Drop-in Programming

    Regular drop-in rates are now in-effect for all drop-in and pre-registered drop-in activities. For more information about drop-in programs, click here

    Note: Capacity restrictions will be enforced for both pool and arena drop-in programs.
