Road Work - David Avenue between Lansdowne Drive and Johnson Street

City crew's will be completing bridge maintenance work on David Avenue between Lansdowne Drive and Johnson Street on September 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Single-lane alternating traffic will be in place. Pedestrian movements will not be impacted.

What: Bridge maintenance work (Scott Creek Bridge)

Where: David Avenue between Lansdowne Drive and Johnson Street (Location Map)

When: Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weather permitting) 

Traffic Impacts: During active construction, there will be single-lane alternating traffic along this section of David Avenue. Pedestrian movements will not be affected.  Please plan an alternate route to avoid delays or plan extra time when using this route. 

Driver Safety Reminder:
When traveling through the construction zone, please:

  • Drive with extreme caution and follow construction speed limits.
  • Keep a close watch for work crews and heavy machinery.
  • Obey all construction signage and instructions from traffic personnel.
