COVID-19 Update: Step 3 BC's Restart

The City Centre Aquatic Complex is an aquatic and fitness facility with:

  • Eight-lane Olympic-sized lap pool
    • Rope swing 
    • Diving boards
  • Free-form wave pool with:
    • Lazy river 
    • Slide 
    • Water sprays
    • Waves 

Availability of amenities vary during operating hours. 

  • Relaxation area with:
    • Dry sauna 
    • Steam room 
    • Whirlpool 

Hours of Operation

  • Sunday, 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Monday, 6:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. | 3:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 6:30 - 11:30 a.m. | 3:30 - 9:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 6:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. | 3:30 - 8:30 p.m
  • Thursday, 6:30 - 11:30 a.m. | 3:30 - 9:30 p.m.
  • Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, 6:30 a.m. -  8:30 p.m.

Note: The front desk closes 15 minute prior to the facility closing.

Temporary Move for Fitness Centre

The Fitness Centre has moved temporarily to the Innovation Centre (1207 Pinetree Way) during the expansion and renovation of CCAC.

Fitness Centre Hours of Operation

  • Seven days a week, 6:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  1. Pre-registered Drop-in Programming

    Drop-in swimming, skating and weight room access is  available for pre-registration. Registration is available 48 hours in advance and must be prepaid online or by phone. If you need to cancel you must do so a minimum 24 hours before the start of the session.

    Pre-registered Drop-in Fees

    • $1 for child/youth and senior
    • $2 per adult
    • $5 per family (group of 4)

    Recreation drop-in fees have been temporarily reduced and skate & helmet rentals are free through the support of the City's Community Support and Recovery Program. To register for a course, reserve lane or for more details, please visit the Registration web page.

Staying Safe with Coquitlam Recreation 

Safety protocols are in place at all City facilities to ensure the safety of program participants and staff.

Masks are no longer required indoors but continue to be recommended, particularly for those 12 years and older who have not had two doses of vaccines.

CCAC Expansion Project

Construction is underway to expand the City Centre Aquatic Complex, with completion expected in fall 2021. The aquatic areas will remain open during construction except during the regular annual maintenance shutdown in September, and some fitness equipment has moved to the Innovation Centre to offer continuity of service to users.
