Coquitlam City Hall is now open and the Council-in-Committee and Regular Council* meetings are open for members of the public to attend in-person.
*Public Hearings, and the Regular Council meetings that are scheduled following Public Hearings, will continue to be closed for in-person attendance. Online participation methods for Public Hearings can be found online at coquitlam.ca/publichearings. Regular Council meetings can be viewed live online at coquitlam.ca/webcasts.
Due to the limited capacity of Council Chambers, and the Provincial Health Officer’s guidance regarding gathering size, we are still strongly encouraging people to watch the meeting live online at coquitlam.ca/webcasts rather than come to City Hall, as the total number of people permitted in Chambers remains quite limited.
Members of the public who chose to attend in-person will be required to provide their name and contact information to a member of the Clerk’s Office for the purposes of contact tracing.
To make a written submission to Council or Committee about a matter on a meeting agenda or within the jurisdiction of the City, email your letter or comments to Mayor and Council or fax to 604-927-3015. Your letter must be signed and include your name and address. Please note that, in most instances, written and email correspondence addressed to Mayor and Council become public documents once received by the City.
Live web broadcasts of City Council meetings can be accessed by clicking the In Progress link next to the desired meeting. Broadcasts will generally be available 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
Archived meetings are generally made available by noon the day after the meeting and can be found under the Available Archives section.
