Congratulatory messages from the Mayor and Council are available upon request for Coquitlam residents celebrating significant birthdays or wedding anniversaries.

Milestones

Greeting certificates are available for the following milestones:

  • Birthday - 90th, 100th and over
  • Wedding Anniversary - 50th, 60th, 70th and over

How Do I Request a Congratulatory Message?

To request a Congratulatory Message from the Mayor, simply complete a Congratulatory Message Form.

Please note: 3 weeks advance notice is required for the processing of applications.

Once you submit a form, the information will be sent directly to the Mayor’s office at the City of Coquitlam and you will be contacted to confirm your request.

Congratulatory Messages from Other Dignitaries

Congratulatory messages from the provincial and federal government are also available through a Congratulatory Message Program coordinated by the Government of British Columbia. Messages are available from:

  • Governor General of Canada
  • Leader of the opposition
  • Lieutenant Governor for British Columbia
  • Member of the Legislative Assembly for the recipient’s constituency
  • Premier of British Columbia
  • Prime Minister of Canada
  • King of Canada - His Majesty King Charles III
