COQUITLAM, B.C., May 9, 2025 – Exciting summer recreational programming is just around the corner. Starting May 13, register for a variety of engaging camps designed to keep children and youth active and entertained this summer.
This year, a new virtual waiting room (Queue-It) will be in place to help manage demand for summer camp registration, ensuring a smoother sign-up experience. Summer swim and skating program registration is already open – plan ahead and secure your preferred schedule.
Registration Dates
- May 13: Summer camp registration for Coquitlam residents.
- May 15: Summer camp registration opens for the broader community.
- May 20: General fitness and parks programming registration opens for Coquitlam residents.
- May 22: General fitness and parks programming registration opens for the broader community.
All programs are viewable online at coquitlam.ca/registration at least four days before registration begins. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., and is available online, in-person and by phone. Call 604-927-4386 or visit most recreation facilities to register.
Get Ready to Register
To ensure a hassle-free registration experience by checking your online account in advance. Double-check your account information for accuracy, including:
- Correct street name and house/unit number (for multi-dwelling units).
- Correct spelling of “Coquitlam” with no abbreviations.
- Inclusion of your postal code.
Financial Assistance Available for Recreation
It is now easier than ever to access financial support for Coquitlam’s recreation services. The City’s Financial Assistance for Recreation program is more user-friendly with a much simpler application process and income verification, and more flexibility than ever. Each year, qualifying Coquitlam residents will receive 50 free drop-in visits plus a $225 credit they can use for an expanded range of admissions, passes, programs, lessons, exam fees, supplies, rentals and more.
