COQUITLAM, BC, Oct. 13, 2022 – Following a number of early voting opportunities, this Saturday, Oct. 15, is the last opportunity for eligible Coquitlam voters to cast their ballot to decide who will represent them at City Hall and on the SD43 School Board.
Who Should Represent Your Voice at City Hall?
Cities make decisions that affect everyday lives: affordable housing, public safety, community planning, business zoning, property taxes, festivals and events, parks and recreation, and more. Plus, municipalities provide important services such as water, sewer, roads, fire protection and policing.
Being a voter is important. In our 2018 election just over one-quarter of eligible voters made their way to the polls. Let’s get out and vote, Coquitlam.
When can you vote: Sat, Oct 15, 2022 is Election Day. Polls are open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Who is running: In the 2022 Coquitlam municipal election, eligible voters will elect:
- one mayor
- eight councillors
- four school trustees for the School Board SD43

Voting locations: Eligible Coquitlam voters may vote in person at any of the 23 voting locations around the city, open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. All locations are wheelchair accessible and also offer curbside voting. A map of these locations is available at www.coquitlam.ca/vote.
