COQUITLAM, B.C., June 9, 2023 – For a second year, the Cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody are collaborating for another informative, free webinar on Thursday, June 22, at 7 p.m. for residents considering a heat pump.

Free Webinar

Join us online Thursday, June 22, at 7 p.m.to learn about how a heat pump works, its benefits, available rebates and more with the CleanBC Better Homes Heat Pump Rebate Program.

The free webinar will be presented via Zoom, a virtual meeting platform, and registration is required via the CleanBC Better Homes website. Interested attendees will receive an automatic confirmation email upon registration and a reminder one day before the webinar.

Group Rebate and Municipal Top-up Offers

The municipalities have also joined with CleanBC to offer a heat pump group purchase rebate of up to $500 for homeowners switching from oil, natural gas, or propane heating system to an eligible air source heat pump. The more homes that register and apply as a group using the same group code, the higher the rebate for each participant.

Program details, including specifics on how to apply for the rebate program, and the group rebate code are available at coquitlam.ca/EnergyUpgrades, portcoquitlam.ca/rebate and portmoody.ca/rebate.

Coquitlam and Port Moody are also offering their residents living in eligible homes top-up rebates in addition to CleanBC rebates. All rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to available funding. Please refer to the CleanBC Better Homes webpages linked below for eligibility and application details.

Use the CleanBC Rebate Search Tool at betterhomesbc.ca to find all the rebates that apply to you. Visit the CleanBC Better Homes FAQ page at betterhomesbc.ca for detailed information and tips.
