Stay and Play in Coquitlam
For those planning a staycation this holiday season, consider some of Coquitlam’s all-ages drop-in activities. Visit coquitlam.ca/StayAndPlay for pool and arena schedules, as well as options for sports and active play.
The City is also offering a number of free, outdoor pop-up events at Town Centre Park to enhance your Lights at Lafarge experience. Find out more at coquitlam.ca/ParkSpark.
Coquitlam boasts more than 90 kilometres of trails and 80 parks, many of which include unique playground spaces. Go to coquitlam.ca/ParkFinder for a complete listing that allows you to filter your search by neighbourhood or amenity.
Service Impacts and Schedule Changes
Waste collection will be delayed by two days the week of December 24 due to the statutory holidays on December 25 and 26. The collection schedule will be adjusted as follows:
- Monday collection will occur on Wednesday
- Tuesday collection will occur on Thursday
- Wednesday collection will occur on Friday
- Thursday collection will occur on Saturday
Waste collection will also be delayed the week of December 31 due to the statutory holiday on January 1. The adjusted schedule is as follows:
- Monday collection will occur on Tuesday
- Tuesday collection will occur on Wednesday
- Wednesday collection will occur on Thursday
- Thursday collection will occur on Friday
