All grant-funded projects or events must be offered free to participants.
Examples of past projects include:
- Lending libraries
- Recycling or upcycling events
- Workshops on gardening, crafting, or Indigenous art
- Community performances or sports events
- Pollinator gardens or other environmental projects

Projects should be completed by November 31, 2025, and participants are encouraged to share their experiences and photos online.
This program is a partnership between the City of Coquitlam, the Coquitlam Foundation, Vancouver Foundation, and the Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC.

We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that the name Coquitlam was derived from the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (HUN-kuh-MEE-num) word kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (kwee-KWET-lum) meaning “Red Fish Up the River”. The City is honoured to be located on the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm traditional and ancestral lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the q̓ic̓əy̓ (kat-zee), and other Coast Salish Peoples.
