COQUITLAM, B.C., Jan. 11, 2021– Dog owners in the City of Coquitlam are reminded that 2020 dog licences expired on Dec. 31 and the discount period to renew is underway.

If your dog gets out or is lost, the fastest way to be reunited with your family is to make sure it is validly licenced and wearing a licence tag on its collar.
Purchase or renew before Feb. 1 and receive a discounted rate. Proof of spay or neuter is required to receive a further discounted rate.

All dogs over the age of six months are required to be licenced each year with the City of Coquitlam; Bylaw Enforcement Notice fines may be issued if your dog is found to be unlicenced.
