Tourism Coquitlam is kicking off 75 Days of Summer today with contests, insider tips of things to do, and places to visit, eat or drink – all in Coquitlam.

COQUITLAM, BC, June 24, 2020 – Tourism Coquitlam is kicking off 75 Days of Summer today with contests, insider tips of things to do, and places to visit, eat or drink – all in Coquitlam.

While your summer vacation plans may have changed, the local options are endless with Tourism Coquitlam as your guide. Be a tourist in your own town and stay busy at over 80 parks, 90+ km of trails, 80 km of cycling routes, nine spray parks and 200 + restaurants, not to mention specialty shops and one of B.C.’s largest shopping centres.

Follow @visitcoquitlam on Facebook and Instagram from now until Sept. 7 for daily ideas and inspiration. Enter for the chance to win gift cards and prize packages each week from local businesses including restaurants and retailers.

Every day Tourism Coquitlam will be highlighting staycation ideas including places to hike, bike, walk, eat, shop and play. Discover a new trail or revisit an old favourite. Be inspired by family-friendly ideas such as pitching a tent in your yard and ordering local takeout for your backyard camping feast.

Showcase Your Business

Are you a local business interested in getting involved with the 75 Days of Summer campaign? The City will be purchasing gift cards and prize packages for contest giveaways all summer long. Businesses with gift cards or prize packages for sale from $50 to $100 are invited to contact our Economic Development Office at 604-927-3913 or email Tourism. Businesses selected for the prize purchases will be done on a first come, first served basis.

Join Coquitlam’s Efforts to #SupportLocal

The City of Coquitlam has joined the Tri-Cities #SupportLocal campaign to assist local businesses, many of which are struggling at this time. Coquitlam also strongly encourages residents to #SupportLocal for their shopping and meals; view business listings at www.wegotthistricities.com and www.visitcoquitlam.ca for a directory of 200+ Coquitlam restaurants offering takeout, dine-in and delivery.
