The Tri-Cities invites you to learn more about the CleanBC Better Homes Heat Pump Rebate Program
COQUITLAM, B.C., April 14, 2022 – Want to reduce your environmental footprint and save money at the same time? The Tri-Cities invites you to learn more about the CleanBC Better Homes Heat Pump Rebate Program.
The Cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody are collaborating with CleanBC to offer a heat pump group purchase rebate of up to $500 for homeowners switching from oil, natural gas, or propane heating system to an eligible air source heat pump. The more homes that register and apply as a group using the same group code, the higher the rebate for each participant.
Switch from a fossil fuel (oil, natural gas, or propane) home heating system to an electric air-source heat pump and access up to:
- $6,000 if you replace/remove or decommission your fossil fuel primary heating system (up to an additional $500 by participating in the Tri-Cities Group Purchase Rebate program)
- $500 for electrical panel upgrade (if required)
Use the CleanBC Rebate Search Tool at betterhomes.bc.ca to find all the rebates that apply to you.
